Thanks so much Mike for delivering the Bentley Continental to my garage. Just needed a little cleaning with my new portable vacuum cleaner. And some engine tuning. It's now in A1 condition in no time. Excellent black for my halloween party.

All Together Now

I plan to post all the 1/18s I've collected every six months in one thread. Hope to use a diffrent set of pics than when I first posted them in the other threads. There's still one day to go and it's a payday. So I'll probably be adding a payday haul to this post. At any rate, this thread is going to be quite picture-busy and could be taxing to your bandwidth unless it's boradband. Will try to be chronological but not sure if I can recall correctly.


The Mercedes Benz Maybach 57" from AutoArt






This was what re-started it all - from Jlaurea. It's also my first limo in 1/18 as I resumed this hobby. I normally prefer the limos in 1/43 but I took exception here and a few others. This is one exquisite model for a 4-door large sedan, nice interior detailing. Engine is just a molded piece with nothing much to detail. Have left it in mint.

Friday's Catch

Should have posted this ahead of the Saturday Catch. But here it is - a pre-owned 1/18 AA BMW M3 without the antenna, which can be easily fabricated. I seem to have violated my own rule - no sealed models. This is a sealed model. But the form and stance make up for it. And at a very good price.

Saturday Catch

Just one of those models I've been looking for - a TVR Tuscan S. Thanks Carlo, great meeting you at UJ this noon.

I would have preferred one with a lighter color. But black is just a stunner. It doesn't have an engine or trunk openning except the doors, the removable roof and half the hood. Jadi seems to be the only one making this model in 1/18 for now. Nothing spectavular but the model has the correct stance and respectable body and interior dtailing.
